GrowthPoint Partners was created to make significant minority investments that bring together three resources:

• Entrepreneurial management talent
• Investors comfortable with long term investments
• Small companies that are still too young to approach traditional institutional financing sources

We have a few guidelines for the type of investments we like:

• Consumer or consumer related businesses. Restaurants, retail, specialty products…things that people can get passionate about
• Early stage businesses: $1mm - $5mm in sales, businesses that are looking to move beyond the friends and family or angel community, but that need some support in addressing the traditional venture community
• Businesses with great entrepreneurs who can carry the ball themselves, but aren’t afraid to ask for help

Finally, we have done this before. We want to find opportunities where we can play a meaningful advisory role.

We believe that we can partner in a unique way, by adhering to the following standards

• Maintain a portfolio that does not grow beyond 5-7 companies at any time, to ensure that each one can be treated as a priority
• Only get involved with businesses that we actually understand, and can help grow
• Include the entrepreneurs at each of our portfolio companies on our team as a resource to help each other.

We intend to make 3-5 investments over the next 24 months. We intend to invest up to $2mm as an initial investment with additional capital reserved for later rounds
